A special timepiece produced from a father to his son… few weeks ago we were contacted to produce a watch dial for a home-build, which he was making for his son.
The dial features Quenya, the language of the Elves from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. In the center of the dial stands the White Tree of Gondor, with text below that reads “I love you son” and hour markings around the outside.
The project is for an Unitas mechanical movement, with the subdial at the 9-position. To complement the project, we included a custom flask featuring the dial design, and two bottle openers with the test from the dial.
