This is the VFA-122 Flying Eagles timepiece in our 44mm Aviator case with sapphire crystal glass (with inner A/R coating) and exhibition caseback (see-thru back) to display the beautiful hand-wind movement, a mechanical Swiss movement tracing it’s roots back to vintage pocket watches of the 1800’s. The sound of the movement, the feel of the winding, the beauty of its craftsmanship; the mechanical movement is a work of art, unto itself; not to mention, the art on the dial of the watch.
At the 12-position proudly sit the U.S. Navy Pilot wings (the Wings Of Gold); with the VFA-122 patch at the 9-position and a top-view of the F-18 Super Hornet at the 3-position. This particular timepiece was further customized to include another patch at the 6-position, inside the sub-dial ring for the seconds hand.
